The Liberty High School National Honor Society (NHS) has once again demonstrated the power of community and giving back, collecting an impressive 478 canned goods during their recent food drive. These generous contributions will help stock the school pantry, ensuring support for students and families in need.
The food drive featured a spirited competition among homerooms, with students rallying together to make a difference. Leading the charge was Mr. Cripe's homeroom, which brought in an outstanding 169 cans, earning them the top spot and a well-deserved donut party. Following closely were Ms. Savinda's homeroom with 73 cans and Mrs. Popio's homeroom with 69 cans.
Thanks to all the students, families, and teachers who contributed to the drive, proving once again that when a community works together, amazing things happen.
